This tour starts with a nice guided vineyard walk followed by a visit to the winery, where you are introduced to the famous Vesuvio Lacryma Christi wine production. Next step is lunch, based on typical products from the appetizer to the dessert all paired with wine. During the appetizer you taste the Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Bianco DOP (100% Caprettone grapes), Rosato DOP (100% Piedirosso grapes) and Rosso DOP (100% Piedirosso grapes); The first course, spaghetti, is paired with Lacryma Christi Riserva (80% Piedirosso and 20% Aglianico, aged in French oak barrels for 18 – 24 months); The dessert, consisting of traditional Pastiera Napoletana, made of ricotta, candied fruit and boiled wheat berries, is paired with Capafresca Spumante Rosato (100% Aglianico) and with the sweet dessert wine Passito Bianco IGT.
